@laststand4 Contrary to popular belief dogs are in fact carnivores not omnivores, they don’t need fruit and veg.
February 11th, 2012 at 9:53 pm
Dogs don’t need fruit and veg. You are also using the wrong knife to chop the veg.

I can’t seem to get away from these “Expert Village” videos when I look up “how to”. They are all awful. I think the presenters need to either consult a real expert before making these monstrosities, or change the name to Average or Mediocre Village. And for god sake finish the process in one video for a change. The only one I have seen that completes the process is the “potato skins” recipe where the really cool guy with the brow piercing ends up making a baked potato instead. LOL!

@loonybean1 Your name suits you, however It is this name that is everyone else’s burden as it now gives you the power to comment on youtube. Damn.
Vegetables are essential for their diet
February 12th, 2012 at 12:12 am
Anyone that knows anything about dogs knows that they cannot digest veggies….IF YOU ARE GOING TO FEED RAW…FEED ONLY BONES AND MEAT.
February 12th, 2012 at 12:15 am
Sorry… I meant pressure cooker… not crock pot.
February 12th, 2012 at 1:06 am
@kataninetail yeah… these videos are sooo mixed up and incomplete!!! There is actually more to the recipe. It has carrots, zucchini, sweet potato and a whole chicken. Then she covers it all in water and cooks in the crock pot. She leaves the bones in it and everything. I wouldn’t!!! And I would probably add some LOW sodium chicken stock to mine instead of all water. Thats it.

blah blah blah!!!! shut it lady!
February 12th, 2012 at 2:55 am
The presenter is well intentioned, but people want to get to the point, and see stuff that they can use right away.
With all the videos in the series, there is not one video that “puts it all together”.
Constructive suggestion…
1. quickly explain the benefits of home made dog food
2. Lay out ALL the ingredients and say how you will prep
3. Prep the ingredient (can be edited here)
4. Combine them
5. Show how to store for later
6. Show actual feeding of a dog — make sure he likes it

This is a joke… ORGANIC Carrots for DOGS? Vegetables? They’re canines for god’s sake, not rabbits!
February 12th, 2012 at 3:50 am
okay but did not give me what i was looking for … all you feed is vegtables …why was the chicken sitting there?
February 12th, 2012 at 4:34 am
Thank you for your video, and thank you for taking so much time and care to put this information out there.
Please ignore the nay-sayers and continue with your work.

She’s just sharing her tips,, if you dont like it why did you watch it silly head .. – My sister said .

Your video is nothing more than a showcase of your slow speaking voice, slow chopping skills and useless information. THREE minutes is a long time for a YouTube clip, and you need to respect the time of people who genuinely want to know about a healthy dog’s diet. Clearly your agenda is to advertise another website, nothing to do with dog food at all.
February 12th, 2012 at 5:35 am
NINE months … that is how serious you are about the video you expect other people to view.
As for your question about why I don’t “create the dog food video of your dreams”, I can tell you it is because despite being considerably more knowledgeable than you about dog food, I still do not consider myself qualified to advise others.
February 12th, 2012 at 6:08 am
Hostility? If that is how you view feedback that I took the time to write…that’s your problem. Frankly, a word of thanks would have been in order since you’ve had 1,610 views yet not one person has bothered to comment because they probably likely switched off at the point of you s-l-o-w-l-y chopping carrots.
You’ve taken NINE months to reply to the one and only person who commented on your site? That would be in keeping with your slow talking, slow chopping video.
February 12th, 2012 at 6:56 am
nicke: Why the hostility?
“Disappointing, deceptive, a waste of time, a joke at best.” Are you serious? This is a video on dog food not a trip to the Epcot Center.
It was short and not all-encompassing but not in any way harmful. It may be helpful for those new to making their dog homemade food.
If anyone is out of line, it’s you, nicke. Why don’t you do something more useful with your time and create the dog food video of your dreams instead of insulting others efforts.
February 12th, 2012 at 7:32 am
I would rate this video as a joke at best, and an insult to a dog owner’s intelligence!
Please have more respect for others.

Your video is extremely disappointing. Your list of dangerous foods for dogs have not included a bunch of other substances toxic to dogs, such as chocolate and avocados. The main demonstration of your video seems to be a course on how to SLOWLY cut up vegetables. Surely it is common sense that small pieces for smaller dogs! You haven’t included any protein, which is the first ingredient dogs need. What a waste of time and deceptive means to get people to come to your site.
